this summer is almost over (not calendar wise, but activity wise). I have already been to my brother's wedding and gone to Muscular Dystrophy camp. In two or three weeks, I will go to sewing camp, and two or three weeks after that, school will start. My garden is doing fabulous, and ine ripened strawberries are 1,000 times better than storebought. My grape tomatoes look like I spray them with steroids, but I don't. One of the one that is starting to turn red looks like like a peeper. None of my herbs, cuccumbers or pepers even sproted, which is a huge dissapointment. The calendar says my carrots should be ready on saturday, but I pulled a tes last night, it wasn't even orange. my lettuce is not ready at all, even thouhg it should be, and the greens on my purple onions are falling over. I read that that is when you are supposed to pull them, but they were just as big when I put them in. This is so confusing.

Even with my garden, I need something to occupy my time, and I wanted something that would make me a better person, so I am trying to learn how to meditate. I know it sounds silly, but, I figure it can't do any harm.

My Great Uncle is really sick. He has been in and out of the hospital (mostly in) for two or three months now, and he has so much going on. pnumonia, COPD, diabetes, a weird bacteria thingy, and just sick of being in the hospital. I went with my parents to see him yesterday, and he looked really bad. they say he looked better, but it was still weird. I let my service dog lay in the bed with him, and I think he enjoyed it. Please send your prayers to him, he just can't stay well.
